there was blue skies today, a rare thing over the last month or two.
to quote a favourite book of mine, 'the gnole' by alan aldridge- "the weather is all codswallopped" this year
baking hot in march; cold, wet and windy ever since.
i wouldn't mind except we've just had our annual hols in dorset - i only got to wear my shorts once, for an hour

but dorset is sweet no matter what the weather.
but at least the rain we've been gifted of late has helped the garden, fields and woods has lead to overflow with lush life.
the fresh green of the leaves, the delicate silken petals - so many photos to be taken (between downpours).
hopefully the weather will pick up in time for the olympics in london when the world's eyes will be turned to our little part of the world.
